At Katahdin Federal Credit Union, we give you a variety of convenient ways of accessing your accounts without stepping foot in the credit union.

• Through payroll deduction or direct deposit you can have your net pay or just a portion of your wages deposited into a share or share draft account. You can save time and money by making loan payments; depositing to Holiday Clubs; and contributing to IRAs with weekly automatic deductions (with the exception of some mortgage obligations). Saving has never been easier and more convenient.

• Money Connection-KFCU's audio response system brings the credit union to you at home, at work, even at play…you can transact business any time of day. Money Connection's Audio option allows you to transfer and withdraw funds, make loan payments, inquire on account balances, dividends, deposits and check clearing. Simply dial the credit union's telephone number 207-723-9718 for local calls or 800-451-9145 for non-local calls; then choose from a number of options. The audio response system does require a personal identification number to access your accounts. To receive your personal identification number, please complete the following application and mail it to the credit union. The following options are coded for easy telephone access.

Member's Responsibility
I understand that I cannot access Money Connection's Audio Response option without a personal identification number. I am responsible for my personal identification number as the credit union will not have a record of this number. I will notify Katahdin Federal Credit Union if my PIN is disclosed to any one other than myself or the joint owner of this account. If I disclose my PIN to anyone else, I understand that I have given them access to my accounts via Money Connection and that I am responsible for such transactions.

Katahdin Federal Credit Union's Responsibility
We reserve the right to suspend audio response privileges at any time without notice. Any cancellations or termination will not affect any of your existing liability with us. If we do not complete a transfer to or from your account on time or in the correct amount according to our agreement with you, we will be liable for your losses or damages. However, there are some exceptions. We will not be liable, for instance: If, through no fault of ours, you do not have enough money in your account to make the transfer; if the transfer would go over the credit limit on your open line of credit; if the terminal or system was not working properly or if circumstances beyond our control prevent the transfer, despite reasonable precautions that we have taken.
